What is causing curled and twisted leaves on my bay tree?

Our Advice:

This is bay leaf sucker and their feeding has caused the distorted growth. Drench the compost with Provanto Vine Weevil Killer from Bayer or Bug Clear Ultra Vine Weevil Killer from Scott's. Both will kill the insects as they feed and last for up to 6 weeks.
