Why are the leaves of my bay tree curled and twisted?

Our Advice:

This is bay leaf sucker: their feeding has caused distorted growth. Spray tree with Resolva Bug Killer from Westland or SB Plant Invigourator. Both will kill these insects, and they are safe to use on trees where you are likely to use the leaves for cooking.
