What can I use to control pear midge next year?

Our Advice:

Next spring, spray the tree as soon as the flower buds show colour, but before the blossoms open. Use Provanto Ultimate Fruit & Vegetable Bug Killer from SBM or Resolva Bug Killer from Westland. Never spray plants in flower due to the danger of harming pollinating insects.
