Why are the leaves on my apple tree curling and twisting?

Our Advice:

This is usually the result of aphids feeding on the underside of the leaf. You can spray them with Sprayday Bayer Greenfly Killer'>Greenfly Killer from Bayer or PY Insecticide from Vitax DO NOT spray while your tree is flowering. Even if the sprays are not harmful to bees, the smell deters them and they will not pollinate the flowers.
