How do I prevent tulip bulbs from rotting?

Our Advice:

To prevent tulip bulbs from rotting, make sure they are planted in well-draining soil and avoid overwatering. Remove any damaged or diseased bulbs immediately and keep the area around the bulbs clean and free of debris. You can also dust the bulbs with a fungicide before planting to help prevent fungal growth.
