After the tulip flowers have faded, allow the foliage to die back naturally. Once the leaves have turned yellow and withered, you can dig up the bulbs and store them in a cool, dry location until the next planting season. Remove any dirt or debris from the bulbs and store them in a mesh bag or cardboard box.
