How deep should I plant tulip bulbs?

Our Advice:

Tulip bulbs should be planted 6-8 inches deep and 4-6 inches apart in well-draining soil. Plant the bulbs with the pointed end facing up and cover with soil, pressing down gently to remove any air pockets.
