Acacia dealbata flowers in late-winter or early-spring, and the best times to prune it are either immediately after it has flowered or late-spring. Mature, established plants need only a minimal amount of pruning, to remove dead, diseased and frost or wind damaged growth and any over vigourous branches that spoil the shape of the plant.
