Home > Question >

Why are my rhubarb sticks wilting and rotting off?

Our Advice:

Crown rot is a common problem caused by various soil-borne fungi or bacteria. Dig up the crown and remove rotted areas with a sharp knife, cutting back into healthy tissue. Discard the rotten sections and replant the crown in a new site.
