Why are the leaves on my Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) becoming thin and spindly?

Our Advice:

Thin and spindly leaves on a Strelitzia can be due to insufficient light. The plant needs bright light to grow strong, healthy leaves. Overwatering or underwatering can also cause the leaves to become thin and spindly. Additionally, a lack of nutrients or too much fertiliser can affect the plant's growth and lead to thin and spindly leaves.
