When should I remove the flower stem from my bromeliad?

Our Advice:

You can cut the dead flowers off as soon as they wither. The flower stem and the rosette it originated from will gradually shrivel and die. This will be replaced by a new shoot growing from beside the rosette, which will grow and then produce the next flower.
