When is the best time to prune my indoor lemon tree?

Our Advice:

You can prune any time during the growing season, with spring or early summer being the best, as this allows the new growth to mature before the winter. It is very important to avoid pruning too severely in one go, as these plants do not store much food in the woody stems and may die if too many leaves are removed.
