Can I replace one apple with another in the same spot?

Our Advice:

Yes, but use fresh soil in the planting hole and buy a bare-root tree in the autumn. Before planting the tree, dip the roots in a solution of RootGrow. This is a mix of beneficial bacteria and fungi which will help the tree establish by promoting better root growth.
