What is the best potting compost for Agapanthus?

Our Advice:

These plants need an open, free-draining compost so use 75% John Innes No 3 loam-based compost mixed with 25% grit. A warm sunny position is essential. Avoid planting too deeply or they will produce plenty of leaves but never flower.
