What can I use to stop my water butt from smelling?

Our Advice:

Biotal and Hozelock both have a product called Water Butt Cleaner which you can dilute and add to the water butt once a week. This will help to clear the water and prevent it smelling, and the water will be safe to use in the garden for watering your plants.
