How often should I water Christmas cactus?

Our Advice:

Schlumbergera should need watering about once a week throughout the year, but this may be reduced to once a fortnight in early spring after flowering. Feed about once a month March - December with houseplant fertiliser, stop January - March to rest the plant after flowering.
