How do I look after an aspidistra?

Our Advice:

Commonly known as the cast-iron plant as it will tolerate poor treatment and neglect, it can cope with deep shade, long spells without water and hardly any feeding, but it dies if it is over watered. Water once a week at most and wipe the leaves clean once a month.
