How can I stop sparrows eating my primroses?

Our Advice:

Birds seem to have a taste for these flowers, especially yellow ones. Sometimes they are after insects, but some eat the petals. Canes with black cotton stretched between will frighten the birds or alternatively, protect the plants organically with Grazers.
