Start by cutting down affected plants. As the new young shoots emerge, spray with Bug Clear Ultra from Scott's, which lasts up to 3 weeks. Alternatively use SB Plant Invigourator as a routine spray once a week. There is also a form of spider mite control containing Ambleusius andersoni which controls this pest.

Fuchsias are a genus of flowering plants native to South and Central America. They are known for their distinctive pendant flowers, which come in a wide variety of colours and can be single or double blooms. Fuchsias are popular as ornamental plants and are often grown in hanging baskets or containers.
Fuchsia plants can be shrubs or small trees, but are often grown as compact, bushy plants. They have delicate, pendulous flowers that can range in colour from pink and purple to red and white. The flowers have four petals and a distinctive bell shape, with long stamens and pistils that protrude from the center. Fuchsia plants also have ovate leaves that are typically dark green and slightly serrated.
Fuchsia plants prefer cool, moist conditions and do best in partial shade. They require well-draining soil and regular watering, but should be allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. Fuchsias can be propagated from cuttings and are often grown in hanging baskets or containers. Pruning should be done in the spring to control growth and promote flowering.
Fuchsia plants are primarily grown as ornamental plants and are popular for their attractive flowers and ease of cultivation. They are often grown in hanging baskets or containers and can be used to add colour and interest to decks, patios, and other outdoor spaces. Fuchsias are also used in traditional medicine for their anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties.
Fuchsia plants are a beautiful and versatile addition to any garden or home. With their delicate pendant flowers and ease of cultivation, they are a popular choice for hanging baskets and containers. Whether grown for ornamental purposes or for their medicinal properties, Fuchsias are a noteworthy member of the plant kingdom.
