How can I control blackspot on my rose bushes?

Our Advice:

Next spring, start spraying the plant as soon as the leaves are half open, with either Multirose Q4 or Systhane Fungus Fighter both from Bayer. It is important to get a protective layer of fungicide over the leaves before the disease is able to enter the plant.
