Our Advice:

This sounds like scab, which prefers damp conditions. Spray with either Systhane Fungus Fighter'>Systhane Fungus Fighter from Bayer or Bordeaux Mixture from Vitax. Remove infected fruit, spray the soil around the base of the tree and rake up all fallen leaves and fruit.
