Celeriac Mash with Chives


Celeriac adds an earthy, nutty flavour to mashed vegetables, perfect for using freshly grown chives from the garden.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium celeriac, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50ml milk
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Boil celeriac until tender, then mash with butter and milk. Stir in chives, season, and serve as a comforting side dish.

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Storage: Refrigerate for up to 2 days; best eaten fresh.
