For over 42 years The Cottage Garden Society (CGS) has been offering members the chance to enjoy a wide and varied array of events. One of the main outings annually is that of the society's AGM which includes tours of gardens and a special guest speaker each year.
This year the Annual General Meeting will be hosted by the Wiltshire CGS Group at Winterbourne Earls, Salisbury on Sunday 26th May 2024. In the afternoon two of the members will open their gardens for the attendees.
The guest speaker this year will be Rosy Hardy (pictured) of Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants. Rosy will be sharing her knowledge about 'Early Summer Cottage Garden Flowering Perennials’.
Rosy said "I’m delighted to share my passion for cottage garden herbaceous perennials at the Cottage Garden AGM. During my session I’ll share the star plants of the season, their attributes, conditions and the perfect planting combinations to add colour, shape and interest to your garden. Hope to see you there"
The AGM is for members only, but non-members are welcome on the garden visits and talk. If you would like to find out more about the AGM or to join as a non member for the garden tours and talk, please contact our secretary at: sec@thecgs.org.uk
