Red cabbage from the garden slowly braised with apple and vinegar makes a sweet-sour winter side. Melt butter in a pan, add cabbage and apple, sprinkle sugar, add vinegar, cover and simmer 30-35 minutes until tender. Cooking time: 40 minutes Storage: Fridge 3-4 days; reheat gently.Ingredients:
1 red cabbage, shredded
1 apple, chopped
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper
