Home > Question >

How can I get my Oleander bushes to flower?

Our Advice:

Oleanders prefer a soil-based compost such as John Innes No 3, plus 30% added grit to improve drainage. They need plenty of water in summer and a balanced liquid fertiliser every two weeks until June. Then switch to high potassium fertiliser, using it until the flower buds show colour. Always position them in bright sunlight.
