Parsnip and Apple Mash


Sweet autumn parsnips and apples mashed together make a comforting side dish for roast meats.

Ingredients:

250g parsnips, chopped

1 apple, peeled and chopped

25g butter

50ml milk

Salt and pepper

Method:

Boil parsnips and apple until tender, mash with butter and milk, season, serve warm.


Cooking time: 25 minutes


Storage: Fridge 2 days; reheat gently.
