Brown leaves on Euphorbias can be caused by several factors. One of the most common is underwatering. When Euphorbias don't receive enough water, their leaves can turn brown and fall off. Another possible cause is sunburn. Euphorbias prefer bright, indirect light, but direct sunlight can cause their leaves to scorch and turn brown. Additionally, extreme temperatures, especially cold temperatures, can cause the leaves to turn brown and fall off.
