When is the best time to feed Hosta plants?

💡 Our Advice
An annual top dressing of a general-purpose fertiliser such as; Vitax Q4 or Pelleted Chicken Manure in late winter may be needed in poor soils. Also, mulching with well-rotted organic matter helps to maintain ideal moist, fertile growing conditions. Hosta's need moisture and they will struggle if the soil remains dry for long periods.
