How do I look after my amaryllis now it has finished flowering?

💡 Our Advice
Remove the dead flowers but leave the flower stem to die down gradually before removing it. Reduce the watering and stop feeding for 4-6 weeks. Start the bulb back into growth in May by watering and feeding regularly with a weak solution of tomato fertiliser. They can spend the summer outdoors in full sun, but bring it back inside by mid-September.
